Configuring Claude AI questions

SpeedNetworking uses Anthropic Claude Haiku to generate personalized ice-breakers for each pair of attendees.

How it works

When the matcher creates a pair (a, b), the system sends both attendees' profiles (name, company, industry, description, LinkedIn) to Claude and asks for 4 questions per person that they could ask the other.

What Claude takes into account

  • Each person's company + industry
  • Company description (if provided)
  • LinkedIn link (as a context signal)

Purpose

The questions are meant to:

  • Build a business relationship quickly
  • Uncover potential synergies
  • Go deeper than small talk

Fallback

If the Claude API is unavailable or the limit is exceeded - it falls back to generic business questions. The event keeps running.

Toggle

ON by default. You can turn it off when editing the event - pairs then see empty suggestions.
